Open Space Technology is a term which describes a particular method of organizing meetings and group discussion and work processes. At the second-annual U.S. Slow Living Summit we’ll be using Open Space Technology to convene a session from 2:10 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. on Friday, June 1 in the Holstein Room.

We are also offering, literally, an “open space” — an open meeting room — for scheduling by registered conference participants who want to establish a set time and place to talk about an idea that is relevant to our convening purposes, but which may not be addressed specifically by any of the breakout discussions. The room and times will be announced 24 hours before the start of the Slow Living Summit.
